Campaigns

London Wildlife Trust is an independent voice standing up for wildlife.  We campaign on local and national conservation issues.  We're working hard to preserve and protect London's wildlife and wild spaces for the future.  We want to empower Londoners to make sustainable decisions about their outside spaces that will help our city both fight climate change and cope with its effects. We also regularly join forces with The Wildlife Trusts to campaign on wider UK issues, working to create a Living Landscape of green space across the country.

London’s gardens need you
A fifth of London is garden but that vital green space is being swallowed up by drive ways and development. In the last few years front garden loss alone has seen an area the size of 22 Hyde Parks disappear from the capital. Our gardens are vital in both fighting climate change and coping with its effects.

Climate change
Protecting London’s green spaces, and the species and habitats they support, is key to the battle against climate change. We need to create a Living Landscape, a green matrix that allows our city to breathe and our wildlife to move.

Save our seas
Wildlife Trusts around the UK are fighting to get the Marine Bill into the Queen’s speech.
